Nora roberts?

im doing a school report on nora roberts and i need three search engines please help me!!!!!!!|||You can try Google.com, and Yahoo.com, type in "Nora Roberts" or "J.D. Robb"|||Can you go on ask.com and type in author Nora Roberts.

Nora Roberts..............?

Has anyone read Nora Roberts new book??........Its a new trilogy Morrigan's Cross ??|||yep, just finished it,, i really enjoyed it,,, cant wait for the next two books,,, i also answered this under your other question about the garden series,,,, have you read Angel FaLLS YET?? that was a great book|||No! I didn't even know she had a new on out. Was it good? I love her and the last one I read was 'Blue Smoke' not aware of anything newer.|||I just finished it. It's mostly fantasy, with witches, vampires, etc. I liked it a lot. This book was a little slow going because it was introducing the characters and training them to fight. It was worth reading, and the next two will probably also be good.

Nora Roberts?

Do you like Nora Roberts? If you do, what is your favorite Nora Robert's Novel?|||A few books have been made into movies but she has sooooo many more books. I have read quite a few of them and like Honest Illusions, The Villa, Blue Smoke. I just finished reading the Gallagher trilogy which was cute (Jewels of the Sun, Tears of the Moon, Heart of the Sea).

If you like a touch of supernateral then the In The Garden Series (Blue Dahlia/Black Rose/Red Lily) are good and colorful. So is Midnight Bayou. I buy them on ebay and its super affordable. There is always a lot of her stuff there.|||She is my favourite author!!!! I've read many of her books, and still have many to read. I've read manyyyyy books, but the way she writes...there's something unique and different about it. Her stories just drag you in..and keep you there. My favourite books so far are the key and Gallagher series, and Birthright......so far. She really is a great writer, and she wouldn't be so popular and well known if she wasn't so good. I urge you to read her books, don't worry what other ppl think of books, you know what they say, don't judge a book by its cover, so read at least 1, if you don't like it, then at least you can say you read one of her books.

good reading :)|||Haven't a lot of her books been made into movies? If so, I've never read the books but they make really good Lifetime movies.|||ewwwwwww.....changer the channel|||I love her In Death series, in which she writes under JD Robb.|||Montana Sky was excellent!|||I've enjoyed her 'In Death' series when she writes as J.D. Robb. Haven't read too many of her books under her actual name.

Do I have to read the Nora Roberts Circle Trilogy in order?

Do they all connect?|||Yes. Morrigan's Cross is the first. Really good books.

Where can i download the free full version of Nora Roberts - Vision in white?

I really want that game but i don't have the kind of money to buy it so i want to download the full version free|||This link may work for you...

I enjoy books by Lisa Scottoline, Laura Lippman and Nora Roberts writing as J D Robb.?

Can anyone suggest any similar Authors to read?|||Patricia Cornwell

Sue Grafton

"Blindsighted" by Karin Slaughter

Mariah Stewart

Mary Higgins Clark|||Have you tried Nora Robert's books Devin Evil or Blue Smoke. They keep me on the edge of my seat the whole time and scared me along the way.

Does anyone know this mystery/romance novel by Nora Roberts, Sidney Sheldon, or Mary Higgins Clark?

It has to do with an anchorwoman/reporter, a stalker thats sends her notes and flowers, and a murdered anchorwoman rival. In the end it is the limousine driver that committed the crimes and there is something about a soundproof room behind a bookcase. I think its either by Sidney Sheldon, Nora Roberts, or Mary Higgins Clark...|||Its by Nora Roberts -- I recognize the plot line. Almost 100% sure it is Private Scandals. Check out the description on Amazon.

How many books did Nora Roberts write?

I'd also like it if you could include the number of books she wrote under her pseudonym. Thanks! I appreciate it. =]|||Writing under her own name and that of J.D. Robb, Nora Roberts has written over 189 books spanning between the years of 1981-2009. The link to the full list is below. Awesome writer!

For those of you who read Romances by Nora Roberts, Debbie Macomber, Danielle Steel, and others...?

I need to know at the following link to my website

Which authors am I missing that deserve to be included?

Which books for the authors I have listed have I overlooked?

http://books4teensandadults.googlepages.鈥?/a>

Thank you very much for your time and any additional comments would be appreciated. I have similar open questions about a page of mysteries and a page of spy novels.|||WOW! What a list! It really helps having all those links and knowing which books are in which series. Obviously a great deal of work went into this. Bright and colorful. Lots of different authors. One author you might want to look at is Christine Feehan.|||go to www.eharliquin.com, they aways have really good books for romance and suspense.

Help! I need a good book to read! I like romantic books like stuff from Nora Roberts but i'm looking for more!?

I like Nora Roberts and Rachel Gibson (see jane score) but I'm looking for more books. Summer is coming up and i want something to do with my time ha-ha

Please help.

Any suggestions are appreciated :)|||I'd say you'd probably enjoy Nicholas Spark's books.|||Hmm, those sound like adult books, but here are several books that I absolutely love (they're not exactly for adults; they aim towards the teen audience more)

Action and Adventure:Alex Rider series

Percy and the Olympians (Rick Riordan)

Ranger's Apprentice

Slight romance and action:

Wicked Lovely (Melissa Marr)

Luxe

Twilight (I don't like it, but I recommend it)

Magic Study (Maria V. Snyder)

The First Test (Tamora Pierce) (Or basically the books written by her, although they get repetitive eventually)|||Try Twilight.

Answer mine?

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a>|||TWILIGHT U WILL LOVE IT! its very romantic and very good ...its the best book series i have ever read actualy its so good i have read each of teh four books seven times each!!|||I recommended anything Tamara Pierce as well... though i do not think she's repetitive. the stories are about woman power and there definitely romance in her books. but I think you should start with the Song of the Lioness Quartet before you read The First Test.|||I love Nora Roberts. Here are some of my other favorite authors. I've read a lot of their books and would recommend them.

Sandra Brown

Erica Spindler

MaryJanice Davidson

These authors are a bit more graphic.

Emma Holly

Christine Feehan

Angela Knight

Jacquelyn Frank

Have fun stocking up for summer!

I'm looking for a certain Nora Roberts book, some one was telling me about it and it sounded good.?

I was told the book was about a women who dove into a swimming pool and came up out of a lake? She was from the 1970's and when she came up in the lake she was in the 1700's or 1800's. She is married and falls in love with a man in the past. Does it sound familiar anyone? I was told the book was maybe 2 or 3 years old.|||I don't know of a Nora Roberts book, but there is an older book called "Journey to Yesterday" by June Lund Shiplett with the same plot - a woman dives into a swimming pool and comes up in a pond in the woods a hundred years ago.

http://www.amazon.com/Journey-Yesterday-鈥?/a>

There is a sequel called "Return to Yesterday"

How do I find discussion Questions for Nora Roberts Book "Northern Lights"?

Good luck finding questions. i just searched around the internet and couldn't find any. I went to amazon, nora's website, google, about.com and many many others. Looks like you may have to come up with your own questions. Here is some help with coming up with your own questions: http://www.book-clubs-resource.com/runni鈥?/a>

http://bestsellers.about.com/od/bookclub鈥?/a>

http://www.spl.org/default.asp?pageID=co鈥?/a>|||Do you have the book? Sometimes they will add subjects for discussion in the book itself.

Amazon also has discussions about books. Find this book on thier website and see if anyone has started a discussion about it.|||Well, you might read the book and think about it.|||"Northern Lights" was a book by Phillip Pullman not Nora Roberts, as far as i know. Has Nora written a book with that title too??

Does anyone wish they were actually in the Nora Roberts stories?

i mean she is a great writer, my favorite one. I always wish i could be in her books, like the Key trilogy. Who wouldn't want to fall in love with a guy like Bradley Vane in the Key of Valor. And its not just the love part its the actually story line, it has a plot that would be really cool to experience. Its like that in every book of hers i read, i wish i was in the story falling in love with the main guy character, and experiencing what is happening in the book itself.

am i crazy?|||I love nora roberts! her characters are always strong, but feminine :) I LOVE the Night Tales collection! It is so good! My favorite Nora Roberts are her suspenseful books. If you haven't read Night Tales, you've got to check it out.|||You are not crazy :) I am a huge Nora Roberts fan and I must say I wouldn't mind being in a few of her stories. Her writing makes it easy for you to imagine you are actually there.|||i feel exactly the same way! i wish i had nora roberts mind

Which nora roberts book would you recommend to a first time reader ?

my firned wants to know . and i mnot familiar .

to get someone hooked on her

which would you e recommend ? book ?|||my favorite nora roberts book is Winner Takes All ... they are combination books wiht two different stories in it. They both are sooo sweet, i like the flower series that is blue dahlia, black rose, and white lily ...

hope i helped!|||I would not recommend any Nora Roberts book, and can't imagine why anyone would want to be "hooked" on her. There are so many better authors out there...she just writes to a formula, and tells the same story over and over with different characters.|||Black Hills:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?i鈥?/a>|||I've only read

The Quinn Brothers (4 book series)

I enjoyed this series.

I just read Montana Sky by Nora Roberts and I was wondering if anyone could recommend some similar novels?

I usually read non-fiction but picked up this book on a trip and really enjoyed it. I would love to read another mystery/romance set in the mountains. Any suggestions?|||Hmmm. Angels Fall, Northern Lights are set in the mountains and are mystery/romance. Here are a few that aren't set in the mountains: Midnight Bayou, The Villa, Carolina Moon, Birthright. Those are her newest mystery/romances. I would definately recommend all of her books. I've posted her booklist on her website below, take a look and have fun!|||wel, read any and all other Nora Roberts, they are all good. i'm a big fan|||Search "cowboy romances" in yahoo...there are a million of them. But no one can top Nora Roberts. She's the best romance author currently writing in my opinion.

What are some good research paper topics about Nora Roberts?

I think a good research topic would be to ask the question "What makes her such a great romance novelist?" There are thousands of romance novelists out there with very successful careers that don't sell nearly as many books as she does. And not just romance writers, but writers like James Patterson and Nicholas Sparks. What is it about her stories that drives millions of people to read her books? Is it the stories, the plot lines, the writing, the characters? I would suggest reading a few of her books if you haven't already. If you have any questions just send her an e-mail; you can get it off her sight. If she doesn't have time to personally answer your questions, sometimes you'll get a response from a member of her staff. You could also interview a few of her readers and discover why it is that so many people love and I mean love to read her books! She has a huge fan following!

Topic 2

Years ago Nora Roberts was involved in a plagarism case with another author Janet Dailey. Janet Dailey was a huge romance author even before Nora Roberts began writing. You could find out some more information about that and explore why someone as successful as Janet Dailey would break down a plagarize someone like Nora Roberts. Nora Roberts won the case, as she should have, and Janet Dailey was forced to pay a settlement which I think Nora requested be donated to the a charity for literacy.|||She started writing during a blizzard. Check out her website. I like the way she sticks to a formula, but weaves in interesting an personal details about each character in her Putnam hardbacks. I am not a big fan of the trade paperback series', but she is prolific.|||what started her writing career.

i love her books i have a lot of them they are really good

Is it just me or do Nicholas Sparks' stories come across as love stories and Nora Roberts' as lust stories?

Maybe it's just me? I feel like there's more smut than relationship development in her books, unlike Nicholas Sparks. They come across more as smutty lust stories than love stories. I dunno. I have yet to read a book of hers that comes across as a love story.|||To me both authors write a lot of books with someone dying in it. Except with Nora Roberts stories its always about someone that was murdered instead of dying from natural causes or a freak accident like in Nicholas Sparks books.

Do you have to read the Night Tales series by Nora Roberts in order?

I received books three and four of the night tales series as a gift and I was wondering if I needed to read books one and two to be able to understand what is happening/ or to make since of it?|||Not sure !!!!!

Where can I find Nora Roberts books online for free?

I am looking especially for the MacGregors series online. Please email me if u cannot write it online for everyone to see. Thank you!!! :)|||utorrants

Question about books by Nora Roberts?

I just started reading books by Nora Roberts. The only ones I've read are Summer Pleasures with second chance and one summer in it and then a book with three of that Calhoun women's stories: C.C., Amanda, and Lilah. I know there are two others-Suzanna and Megan. I was curious, are there any other books with any distant relations of the Calhouns or with them in it or another character from those books or anything? Thank you!|||That's it, according to Nora's website.|||I love Nora Roberts..but it sounds to me like you are reading her writing for harlequin, if you look on the side and see an upside down triangle with 2 people in it, its harlequin. I don't love the harlequin ones, but she writes tons of other books that aren't I think the other ones are penguin books. There are a lot of Irish based stories. She also writes a nice amount of trilogies. You should check them out, I love every last one of them. Her latest series is out in paperback now..1-Morrigans Cross 2-Dance of the Gods 3-Valley of Silence. They involve witches and vampires, and I enjoyed them. Not that I have been disappointed by her. Enjoy and happy reading.|||I don't know these, but your public library will be able to help you.

Nora Roberts also has a fantastic future series about a detective in 2040 which she writes under the name JD Robb. I LOVE this series!|||Check out your library and find all her titles. She also uses writes under the name of J.D. Robb but her Nora Roberts books are great.

I love them too. I can't remember which ones are the connected families, but you can get help from a library or local book store. Good luck and Happy reading. You could also log on under fictional writers and find out info on her books.

What romance authors are similar to Nora Roberts?

I've been reading Nora since I was twelve and have never read another romance novelist. I'm so used to her style of writing, I'm a bit scared to try a different romance author :/|||I really enjoy books by Luanne Rice and Eileen Goudge. The both tend to have the romance aspect as well some suspense, like Nora Roberts. They do not usually have the magical aspect that Nora does. You can also try books by Josie Litton. While I don't feel hers are as well written as Nora's, she tends to write suspenseful trilogy romances with a magical quality to them, but they are historical romances, not contemporary. Over all they are entertaining books, if not as high of quality at Nora's.|||the styles are different, but i love Jude Deveraux, Sandra Brown, Dorothy Garlock, Karen Robard.|||Try Nicholas Sparks :)|||Jennifer Crusie is similar, I love her books, my favorites are "Welcome to Temptation", and "Charlie All Night".|||Try Barbara Delinsky. Some of her books have a little bit of mystery to them like Nora Roberts. I have read everything by both of these authors. There is just something about reading a romance that is not what I call, a "trashy romance novel." You know the ones with the half naked women on the front, and the men that look loke Fabio? Try reading Flirting With Pete, or The Summer I Dared.|||you may try the following authors:

jude deveraux

judith mcnaught

jayne anne krentz

sandra brown|||Have you read any of her books under her alias of J. D. Robb? They are so addictive. They are the In Death Series and if you go to her site it list them. They are set in the future and are a mixture of romance and suspense. I can't stop reading them lol.

I love Nora's books.Try Jane Ann Krentz books too.I never liked reading until I started reading Janes books. That lead me to Nora. If u like Nora you'll like Janes books.|||They made 5 of her books into movies. I was very disappointed. The books were so much better. They even changed some of the story too much.|||The Lifetime movies should be released on dvd in packs of two with Angels Fall and Montana Sky in August and Blue Smoke and Carolina Moon in October. You should take a look at her other stories..

Anyways, if you're looking for specific keywords like goddesses and demigoddesses - you should try google, it will work faster.

Greek myth and literature is full of good gods and goddesses and are also -amazing- and the foundation of much great literature to day. Maybe look into some of that?|||Reap the Wind - Iris Johansen

Born in Sin - Kinley MacGregor

How many books has Nora Roberts written?

please, don't list the books..just the number of books she's written.|||I would guess around 240. She has books published since 1981 to now.|||I'd guess more than 3oo, since she also write has J.D Robb. she writes a lot of books as nora roberts, so combining them, I'd say my guess is pretty accurate.

You can check for yourself if you go to her official webite, where she lists books published in her real name and books she published under her penname.

What is your favorite Nora Roberts novel && why?

I am one of her biggest fans, I love all her books and travel to her husband's book store frequently! What book is your favorite (written by her) and why? Thanks!|||One of my favorites is definitely the Three Fates. I'm a huge history buff, and knew of the Lusitania before I read the novel. I liked the three stories in the one novel, and the insight into the European countries it offered.|||I know of her, but I have not read any of her books yet. Do you like her romance novels or her mystery ones?|||I love her books, which I have all of them. I would have to say my favorite would be Three Sisters Trilogy. I like the way she blended all their lives together from one book to the next.|||My favorite Nora Roberts novel is actually her Irish trilogy 1-Jewels of the Sun, 2-Tears of the Moon, 3-Heart of the Sea because I've wanted to go to Ireland for a long time now and these books really made me feel like I was there!|||Is Nora Roberts well known? I had never heard of her until I read your question.|||I love her books under her pen name J.D. Robb...her In Death series because they have a mix of everything.

What is the best Nora Roberts novel?

I just finished Birthright, and I absolutely loved it. I have also read River's End and really enjoyed that one to. I just want to get other peoples opinions on some of her other books.|||I have read so many Nora Roberts titles along with J.D. Robb that it is hard to select. Try Carolina Moon, Angel's Fall and her new one, High Noon will is out on the market now!|||none..she just lifts everything off Sidney Sheldon..what a fake!!|||I have read almost all of Nora Roberts' books. Carolina Moon is my favorite with Birthright running a close second. I love all of her books (including her In Death series). A few more of my favorite single titles that were very good are Montana Sky, The Villa, Three Fates, and The Reef. I could go on and on.

Which order do I read the MacGregor books by Nora Roberts?

I want to go in chronological order. I've read Rebellion and In From The Cold but now I'm a little lost with which book goes next. I looked at For Now, Forever and the Prologue didn't make sense. It was all about what happened after Daniel and Anna have kids which should take place after the story, not before. Do I read Daniel's story first or what? What is the chronological order of them?|||The MacGregor series goes in this order:

1, Playing the Odds

2. Tempting Fate

3. All the Possibilities

4. One Man's Art

5. The MacGregor Brides

6. The Winning hand

7. The MacGregor Grooms

8. The Perfect Neighbor

Rebellion is a historic novel about the clan and "In From the Cold" an historic novella.

Also include protagonist please|||In the town of Hawkins Hollow, it鈥檚 called The Seven. Every seven years, on the seventh day of the seventh month, strange things happen. It began when three young boys鈥擟aleb, Fox, and Gage鈥攚ent on a camping trip to The Pagan Stone. And twenty-one years later, it will end in a showdown between evil and the boys who have become men, and the women who love them.

(thats all i could find....)|||idk sorry|||Blood Brothers is the first book in the Sign of Seven trilogy. It begins with 3 young boys who have snuck out of their houses to camp out in the woods on their 10th birthday. (They aren't brothers, but were born on the same day.) As young boys do, they make a blood pact and unwittingly release a demon that comes back to wreak havoc on their town every 7 years.

As adults with their 30th birthday approaching and the demon attacks growing in severity, they are determined to stop the demon. Three women also come into the picture with unique talents to help them stop the demon for good. The main guy in this book is Cal Hawkins and his love interest is Quin. The following books are The Hollow where Fox and Layla take the lead and ends with The Pagan Stone with Gage and Cybil making huge sacrifices to finally destroy the demon.

Is Nora Roberts making anymore Lifetime movies other than the 8 she has already made?

She already made Northern Lights, Montanna Sky, High Noon, Carolina Moon, Angels Fall, Midnight Bayou, Blue Smoke, and Tribute. They were all pretty great. I just want to know if she has decided on making anymore movies with lifetime. If she has and you know please tell me which ones she chose. Thank you. (:|||It doesn't look like it...

Are those lifetime movies based on nora roberts books any good?

i love her books, but i never bother to watch those movies.|||They are ok. I suggest not reading the book right before watching the movie...so all the differences won't be upfront in your mind. Personally, the one I liked best was Blue Smoke. Too many differences in Montana Sky and Angels Fall. Carolina Moon was just ok. Which Nora Roberts books/series should I read first?

My cousin has never read a Nora Roberts book but would like to start. I've read several over the years, but am not sure how to get her started with Nora Roberts. Can you help me make a suggestion? Thanks!|||I like the Donavon Legacy series and the Sign of Seven Trilogy.

Why are Nora Roberts's novels being re-released as paperbacks?

I was just in Barnes and Noble browsing the other day, and I noticed that a few of Nora Roberts's novels had been re-released in paperback editions. When I got home I looked online and saw that there were a lot more coming out. I know the publishing company re-releases some of her shorter, earlier stories in omnibuses, but these are her longer single titles that have already been released in hardcover and mass market paperback editions. Just trying to get more money, perhaps? Just wondering.|||Yes, money is part of it. I think another part is marketing to new readers that didn't read the book when it first came out in hardcover and then mass market paperback. Since Nora has written so many books, it would be impossible for stores to carry all of them (so the older the book is, the less likely it will be there). Personally I like the Janet Evanovich series of Stephanie Plum (Stephanie is a bounty hunter who doesn't quite have it down); Joanne Fluke series of Hannah Swenson (Hannah is a baker who stumbles across murder victims %26amp; solves the crimes--the added bonus is whenever a particular cookie is mentioned for Hannah's bakery shop, the recipe is provided); Karen Marie Moning writes Scottish highlander stories; Faye Kellerman writes some good stuff.|||Katie MacAllister

Can anyone tell me some good books to read that are similar to Nora Roberts Circle Trilogy?

I have recently finished Nora Roberts Circle Trilogy (Morrigan's Cross, Dance of the Gods, and Valley of Silence) and I absolutely fell in love with it. So I would like to know, what are some other good books similar to those? I am primarily looking for magic, witches, romance, and things along those lines.

Btw I have already read Anne Rice Vampire novels and Mayfair witch novels so exclude those.|||Have you tried Maggie Shayne? Her novels tend to run very similar to Nora Roberts'.

I need help figuring out a nora roberts book title?

I read a book by Nora roberts awhile ago that i would like to reread however i can't think of the title. The main part of the plot is that this woman moves into a new house and decides to do some landscaping then while her backyard is being dug up they find a body and have to figure out who the killer is. If you know what book it is please let me know thank you.|||I believe you mean Night Moves. Check http://www.amazon.com/Night-Moves-Nora-R鈥?/a>

The following is part of a customer review on Amazon: "The house she bought had been vacant for many years and restoring it to its original state was taking more time and energy than Maggie had anticipated. She hired a local landscaping company and meets the owner, Cliff Delaney, who has more secrets than the house itself. And then the mystery begins. While landscaping, a body is unburied - not a transient's corpse but the body of the previous owner who everyone had thought only missing, not murdered."

BTW: If you ever want to check on one of her titles, you can check http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/r/nora鈥?/a>

I hope that helps.

Does anyone know the retailer of the dress on the cover of Bed of Roses by Nora Roberts ?

The book by Nora Roberts, in the Bride Quartet series. I adore the dress on the cover, and I was just wondering if anyone knows the retailer, or a way I can find the retailer.

Thanks in advance :)|||I just finished reading this book, but I don't have it in front of me currently. However, I remembering seeing the information on the back cover in the right corner. It tells you who did the dress, flowers, and photo for the model shot on the front. Hope this helps.

I am looking for the short story "Christmas with the Quinns” by Nora Roberts. What was it publisihed in?

I loved the stories about the Quinn brothers in the four Novels written by Nora Roberts. When I look at the list of published books it includes "Christmas with the Quinns” a short story published in 2000. I want to know where this was published (was it included in the back of another novel etc.) and how I can get a copy of the story. Thanks!|||http://www.noraroberts.com/quinns.htm

I believe that may be the story your looking for. check it out.|||You can find Nora Robert's "Christmas in Ardmore" and "The Quinn's Christmas" online at www.noraroberts.com. The short stories were printed in a promotional handout given by Walden Books. I managed to find the handout booklet on ebay and have since added it to my collection.

|||actually, it WAS printed in the Waldenbooks monthly report dated Dec 1998.

I have a copy personally signed by Nora.

My friend got it at the book signing. ;)

|||I found the short story and printed it off Nora Roberts official website. It also had another short story from another of her trilogies. It was under short stories heading. I think it is still there. Good Luck. I just checked on her website and if you look under the free stuff heading they are still there. Cheers!|||It was actually never published on paper. The only place you can get that story is on Nora's website. On there you can also find another short story, Christmas in Ardmore (this one is an addition to the Irish Trilogy). I posted the link for you in the source box. Enjoy the stories!!

Anyone have any info on the new Nora Roberts Movies?

I hear that they are coming out with four more movies based on the books by Nora Roberts. Anyone happen to have any info on them, besides the names?|||This is the latest I read:

Does anyone know how the revealing of Nora Roberts as JD Robb affected her career?

I am doing an english paper on Nora Roberts and how her pseudonym affected her career. Does anyone have any sources I could use to find this information?|||She did an interview a couple of months ago where she talked a little bit about her pseudonym. You can find the whole thing on youtube, but here's part one: http://www.youtube.com/user/ThePublisher鈥?/a>|||It did nothing but help her and now she is essentially two best selling authors in one. She was already extremely successful but wanted to try and branch out into another sub-genre (hence using the pseudonym. This allowed her to see the response of the public to the books before putting her romance career at risk while also seeing if the series could be a hit on its own. When she finally reveiled that she was indeed JD Robb, (I believe she did it with the release of Betrayal in Death), there wasn't even really any backlash at all.

Is nora roberts similar to danielle steele?

I love Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series and friend recommended Nora Roberts to me. Is Nora similar to Diana Gabaldon, more like Danielle Steele, a combo, or is she unique and unlike either?|||I've never read any Diana Gabaldon, but I love both Danielle Steele %26amp; Nora Roberts. Other than they're both fabulous novelists %26amp; they write under the romance genre, I wouldn't say there are any similarities. They're both excellent at what they do but their styles are so different that you really can't compare them.

I highly recommend Nora Roberts. I've read all but 2 of her books. If you want, email me %26amp; tell me what you like %26amp; I'll make some recommendations. She's got historical (a few), futuristic (a few), contemporary, witches, vampires, journalists %26amp; violinists......|||Nikkiswdw,

I think both are great authors, but given a choice I would give Nora Roberts the edge. I like her work under the name J.D. Robb as well, and this is what I base the 'edge' on mostly.

Series similiar to the Macgregor Series by Nora Roberts?

I recently read the Macgregor series by Nora Roberts and i loved it. I was wondering if anyone knows a similiar type of romantic series. I prefer more modern settings but appreciate historical as well.|||I am not familiar with reading nora roberts but I have heard about really good books by her. I'm sorry that I cannot give you any advise, but I would like to ask if you would email me and give me the scoop. So far I have really only read about paranormal love and mystery but I would like to hear a little more about Nora. I am 39 and have only read in the young adult section mainly due to twilight, but I would like to branch out into a more deeply romantic reading for a person my age. If you would right I would appreciate it s1015schott@yahoo.com thanks, Stacie

Are there any good Nora Roberts or Danielle Steel book clubs online?

I love reading Danielle Steel and Nora Roberts books but I can never choose which one to read! So I was wondering if anyone knew of a good club that reads a book a week or something like that for either author. Thanks!|||For Nora Roberts, try the Yahoo! Group JDRobb. Great bunch of people, they have one book discussion per week, have questions of the day and other fun stuff. They discuss Nora's romantic works, as well as her In Death Series under her other pen name JD Robb. They also talk about other off topic things a well.

What other author writes books similar to Nora Roberts?

Where can I read novels by Nora Roberts without having to download anyhing?

I would like to read Nora Roberts books online not ebooks or listen to audio I would just like to read them online free of charge if you can find something. Please and Thank You!|||They are recent books, so they are under copyright protection. Unless Ms. Roberts puts them online somewhere for free, or your local library has e-book versions available for download (visit their website), you are probably out of luck.

If your library does not have paper copies, see if you can get them from another library through inter-library loan.|||They are not available free of charge. I'm sure you will find them online somewhere, but taking things without paying when they are not available for free is called stealing. If you are a thief, go right ahead. If you are not a thief, go buy or borrow a legal copy.

What are some of the sexiest Nora Roberts books?

I want to read something of her's with lots of loves scenes, but that is also one of her best books. I have never read a Nora Roberts book before. Also, I don't want to read a J.D. Robb book-just Nora.|||I don't like Nora Roberts, but if you want sexy, try an author called Roxanne St. Claire. she makes you drool! ;-)|||I like all her books but my favorite are her trilogies and series. Some my favorites are the Circle trilogy, Three sisters trilogy, The Key trilogy, and The Garden trilogy. Her newer one the blood brothers trilogy was pretty good to a little creepy though.|||here are a list of her most amazing books. . .or at least think so. .

~Three Fates

Where can I listen to Nora Roberts books online for free and without having to download or use a MP3?

I would like to just listen to Nora Roberts books online while I work. But you either have to download or have a MP3 player. Is there any link I can go to just to listen?|||Ok, Nora Roberts books are copyrighted and there should be no way to listen for free. However, you can check out the audio books from your local library and listen to them at work.

Any site that offers a FREE copy of a copyrighted book is actually giving you a nasty. Sometimes you get it with the book, but most often you just get the nasty and no book. My own books have been offered by a site located in Estonia, but they didn't actually have my books. They just had the titles and artwork.

How Does Nora Roberts Compare To The Twlight Saga and/or Nicholas Sparks?

I have read and loved the entire Twilight Series and I also have read all of Nicholas Sparks. I want to start reading Nora Roberts( Have yet to read anything of hers) The Calhouns but want to know how it compares. I really love all of Nicholas Sparks books but Love how Twlight was a saga. Are there any good love/romance type series of books.|||Roberts is more grown up in her treatment of human sexuality. As a writer she's uneven--sometimes her books read like first drafts, and sometimes they're not badly written at all.

I found this list for you to look at. People do rave about the first book on the list, though I just couldn't get past ten pages.

http://www.theromancereader.com/top100.h鈥?/a>

This past year I enjoyed a series of fantasy novels with a young female lead--there's a romance that runs through all of them and she's a strong and interesting character: the "study" books by Maria Snyder (Poison Study is the first one).

I also recommend the British novel I Capture the Castle, which is whimsical and has family at the beginning and romance in the last half. It's older but is still very readable today.

Nora Roberts series is avaliable online in America. Why not in Australia? How long do i have to wait to watch?

The 2009 Nora Roberts series is available online in America. Everything is out there first, ok no worries but why is it when i try to watch ANY of her movies online i cant, especially when their connected to lifetime TV. Why am i not able to watch it in Australia? It always say "NOT AVALIABLE IN YOUR COUNTRY" How long do i have to wait to finally watch it, if ever?|||At the moment it is only accessible in USA. I would guess that it will be available in 2 months in Australia. They are great films, especially High Noon and Tribute.
