Does anyone know this mystery/romance novel by Nora Roberts, Sidney Sheldon, or Mary Higgins Clark?

It has to do with an anchorwoman/reporter, a stalker thats sends her notes and flowers, and a murdered anchorwoman rival. In the end it is the limousine driver that committed the crimes and there is something about a soundproof room behind a bookcase. I think its either by Sidney Sheldon, Nora Roberts, or Mary Higgins Clark...|||Its by Nora Roberts -- I recognize the plot line. Almost 100% sure it is Private Scandals.
