Wil there be new Nora Roberts movies in 2011?
Does not appear so. As you probably know, there were four in 2007 and another four in 2009, but according to IMDb there are none in development at this time.|||Gabrielle Anwar was chosen to be in Carnal Innocence. This happened in January.
Can i read nora roberts books?
Am i old enough to read it?
I'm 14 btw.|||Nora Roberts is a very good aurthor, but the only thing that I don't like is that in some of her books, she uses God's name in vain a lot.|||Yeah. I read her books when I was 12.|||Yes. you can.|||yes. you can also read harry potter books.|||ahh ya i started reading Norah Roberts when i was 14 and i love them|||Yeah sure, they are a bit too sentimental (Corny is a better word). You might face a few difficulties, but overall yeah you can.|||i would say yes, I started either when I was 13 or 14, so I would say that you're old enough. Plus when she has some explicit parts that you don't want to read or feel uncomfortable reading, than just read the dialogue or skip it, I would advice reading the dialogue and probable skimming through it to know what's happening, otherwise you might get lost.|||I started reading Nora Roberts books when i was twelve love her. Some of my favorites are Charmed!! Blue Dahlia, Dance Upon the Air, Jewels of the Sun and Tears of the Moon|||Yes i would say you can read the Nora Roberts books. It all depends on how high your reading level is. I read these books when i was about 12 or 13 maybe i was a little younger. I can't really remember.

Do you prefer JD Robb or Nora Roberts books?
Yes, I know its the same person, but the style is different. Was just curious which version was most enjoyed. I happen to love both. The best one was "Remember When" I would love to see her do more like that. But it might get old.|||I like the Nora Roberts books, have only read one of the JD Robb books and didnt quite get into it like the Roberts books.|||Neither. I do not understand the hype of this particular author:(
Who is the stalker in The Sanctuary by nora roberts?
Kyle Delaney was the stalker.
David Delaney was the man who murdered the main characters mother years %26amp; years ago. Nobody knew she had been murdered, they thought she'd run away.
Fast forward 20 or so years %26amp; David Delaney's son, Kyle, is stalking the daughter of the woman his father had murdered. He murdered 2 or 3 other people during his stalking period.
Nathan Delaney - David's son, Kyle's brother - is the main characters love interest.|||Oh my gosh!? No way!!! Haha, I thought it was going to be Nathan, he's such a prick. I can't believe she doesn't have better boundaries with him. But then again, I'm only like 40min into the movie. ;)

Nora Roberts fans: What's your favorite Nora Roberts' book?
I would have to say the Irish Hearts trilogy. Irish Thoroughbred is the first book she published and one of the first books of hers I've read. That trilogy is what got me hooked on her. Irish Rose and Irish Rebel are great followups as well. All of stories hold a great mixture of romance, adventure, humor and heart.|||Carolina Moon.|||The Key Trilogy is my absolute favorite! I know it's not one book, but you have to read all three to get the whole story!
I also really loved "Blue Smoke."

Nora Roberts, what are most of her books about?
When she writes as Nora Roberts, they're generally romantic novels, but they all follow themes. She's a native of Maryland (my home state), so she writes a lot of stories about things happening in this area. She's known for her trilolgies, all based on different subjects.
When she writes as J.D. Robb, she writes murder mysteries.|||Nora Roberts (born October 10, 1950 in Silver Spring, Maryland as Eleanor Marie Robertson), is a bestselling American author of more than 150 romance novels. She was the first author to be inducted into the Romance Writers of America Hall of Fame. She writes the "In Death" series as J.D. Robb and has written other works under the pseudonyms Sarah Hardesty and Jill March.
As of 2006, Roberts's novels had spent a combined 660 weeks on the New York Times Bestseller List, including 100 weeks in the number-one spot. Over 280 million copies of her books are in print, including 12 million copies sold in 2005 alone. Her novels have been published in 35 countries.|||I Don't no Know Nora|||Of the ones I read: a troubled man meets a troubled woman, and there is some running around to straighten out at least the most pressing troubles, then the man and the woman usually get together-- UNLESS the straightened-out-troubles reveal that the little guy in the over in the back (or the unsung woman) are the REAL true loves for man or the woman characters...
;-}
I don't want to give Nora Roberts short-shrift though. I've heard that some of her stuff is quite good.

I am a HUGE fan of Nora Roberts and JD Robb - I need help finding other similar authors?
I have read everything put out by Nora (and her alter-ego JD Robb) and new books just don't come out soon enough. So many other authors that I've tried reading just don't seem to write as good or as deep. There is just something that's missing...PLEASE HELP. If anyone has read anything by other authors that measure up to Nora please let me know!!!
Thank you everyone for your help! :)|||Iris Johansen, James Patter

Hope you can find some new reading material that you enjoy!|||Does the library near you have a reader's advisory department? If they do sometimes there are websites like
What to Read Next and Novelist which might be helpful in you finding authors like JD Robb and Nora Roberts.
I know that she is popular at the library where I work!
(I have not read any of her books.)
You might also try asking at a local bookstore like Borders or Barnes and Noble.|||The Kay Scarpetta novels by Patricia Cornwell are also really good.|||Barbara Delinsky and Jude Deveraux have some good stuff out. Somewhere Lies the Moon by Kathleen Patterson or Peterson (it's been a long time since I read it) is good. It's really long, but worth the time.

Where can i download books for free? From authors like Nora Roberts, etc.?
i am an avid reader and i havent read a decent book in a long time. i really like reading books by Nora Roberts. does any one know where i can possible download her books online for free? also i have limewire and i was able to get a few from there but not many, so i also wanted to know if there is some kind peer-to-peer sharing that is dedicated specifically to downloading and sharing books. if not is there any P2P that has a good supply of books that can be downloaded?|||The book you鈥檙e asking about is still protected by copyright, and will be for 70 years after the author dies. You won鈥檛 find it free online legally.
Once in a while, an author will choose to put a book online for free, but that鈥檚 *extremely* rare because it ends all possible income from sales of that book. With a very few exceptions, most authors simply can鈥檛 afford to give away the product of their work.
This is their livelihood. They have bills to pay, the same as anybody. Please don鈥檛 steal from them.

Is there any certain order for books in a Nora Roberts series?
I had read Nora Roberts' Black Hills and it was really good, so i wanted to read more of her books. When i was looking on eBay, i found a lot of 15 books %26amp; i bought them.
It includes the entire MacKade series, the entire Stars of Mithra series, but not all of the MacGregor series. I think i need Rebellion, Serena ~ Caine, and the Winning Hand.
When i read the back of the books, it didn't say that they had any certain order, and from the info it doesn't sound like any certain one comes first...
I was wondering if there was a certain order to read the MacGregor series? Also if there is an order for the MacKade series?|||I'm not sure if there is a particular order but when I have this problem with a series I go by the copyright date. What books would u recommend if I like Nora Roberts 'Montana Sky'?
I loved reading Montana Sky by Nora Roberts. Are there similar books?i mainly liked the country/ranch setting and the Romantic story line of Willa and Ben. What's the name of this book? Nora Roberts or Danielle Steele?
I read a book a really long time ago and i like it a lot. It's either by Nora Roberts or Danielle Steele. I used to think it was The Ranch by Nora Roberts but after reading it, it wasn't the same. The story I read was about 3 women who were friends or sisters. Some old guy died so the 3 women went to live on his ranch. I think for some reason 2 of the girls didn't like each other and the other one was kinda caught in the middle. The youngest one has this boyfriend who is really mean to her. He eventually comes and tries to kill her or rape her or something. And there's one part where that one girl is in a store somewhere and sees him. Also i think she wears a wig. I know there was swearing in the story. And it was pretty long. I didn't have the cover of the hard cover copy i had but the book itself was on the big side and black. If you have any idea please let me know. I've been wanting to read this again for a long time. I've looked in every library I've been in since then and all the book stores. Who is the better author? Nora Roberts or L.A. Banks?
I have read numerous books by both of these ladies. And I'm not sure which is the better author. Whats your opinion?|||I have read many many books by Nora Roberts and love her tremendously. I started reading her novels around age 15 and 9 years later still love them. I have not read any by L.A. Banks but I am certainly going to check her out. I have been looking for a new author to try so thanks!!!
Did Nora Roberts or Sandra Brown write this?
okay... I saw this book in an excerpt once and i've wanted to read it but I don't know the name. I think it's by sandra brown or Nora roberts (it isn't Long Time Coming).
What happened was it started off with the radio saying that some guy died... a car crash I think. Then they went to his family which was all bitchy and rich. I think they might have been talking about the son that died's wife and how it was somehow her fault or she was somehow bad blah blah blah.
Then it fast forwards to years later and the sister of the guy's wife (who also died) was taking care of the dead woman's baby. She hears a knock on the door and answers it and one of the males from that family is there. The woman freaks at first thinking that he is there for the baby/child.|||Doesn't sound like Nora Roberts to me and I've looked through Sandra Brown's books and can't find what you are looking for...are you sure it was one of these two authors?

Best Nora Roberts Book?
Hiya!
Kay, main point.
I'm looking for the best Nora Roberts book in your opinion!
Awesome ending.
Tip-top romance %26lt;3
Killer conflict.
400+ pages(optional, but highly wanted)
You know the drill.
But I'm really focused on the ending because I've heard from friends that some of the endings leave you hanging or it's not that great.
It would also be wonderful if it was above 400 pages... but it doesnt have to be, I guess.
Thank you!
---
I was thinking about picking up Black Hills, but if the ending ain't happily-ever-after - I don't like sad endings : / -I might not pick it up.
So, please. I need your help!!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
x|||Try Tribuite. It has alot of plot twists and a happily ever after ending You might also try the 3 Sisters trilogy. The books are Dances on the Air, Heaven and Earth, and Face the Fire.

Is the movie "bride wars" originated from the book "vision in white" by Nora Roberts?
I'm pretty sure it's not. They have different story lines and different character names.|||No, the only similarity between the two is that they both deal with weddings.
Which Nora Roberts Series should I read first from the ones I got from my mother-in-law?
I have never read Nora Roberts before and I'm not sure which series would be good for me to get hooked on. I like historical romances, mostly set in Ireland or Scotland, but any setting is fine as long as it's a good book.
I have a few books that are part of a series but I don't have all of the books for those series and I would like to read them in order.
Here are the series I have that are complete:
Dream Series
Chesapeake Bay Series
Three Sisters Series
Garden Series
MacGregor Series
MacKade Series|||If you like Ireland/Scotland based stories you should start with the MacGregor Series. Of the books you listed it's the only series with Scottish ties.
The rest are all excellent reads. I would suggest reading the Dream or MacKade series after the MacG's, as they're some of her earlier works.
The Chesapeake Bay, Three Sisters, %26amp; Garden series we all written within the last 10 years or so, so by reading them last you can tell how Nora's writing style has grown %26amp; been refined.
Back to the MacGregors - they should be read out of order... Rebellion, In From The Cold, Playing the Odds, Tempting Fate, All the Possibilities, One Man's Art, For Now Forever, Brides, Winning Hand, Grooms, then Perfect Neighbor is the suggested reading order.

Sign of Seven Trilogy
The Circle Trilogy
The Key Trilogy
Three Sisters Island Trilogy
Irish Trilogy
Chesapeake series
The Mackade Brothers series

|||Yes, the little slip at the end of the book to order more books is legit. And it should say "please send along with check or money order" somewhere on the instructions. Shipping time could be anywhere from 2-8 weeks generally.
I've read every Nora Roberts book. Some of the early ones were ok, but the rest are awesome. Reading her earlier books is an interresting look into how she's developed as a novelist. All of the books you mentioned are great. Carolina Moon is my favorite.

Nora Roberts and October Road Fans?
I just got done randomly reading the book, "Home for Christmas" by Nora Roberts and it reminded be of the TV Show October Road that was canceled after Season 2. It was pretty much the SAME thing. I was also so upset that I did not get an ending in the TV show and when I read the book I felt like I got the ending. It tunred out that the child was his. There where a few things missing from the book and a few things changed, like the book was about a daughter and the tv show was about a son, but everything else was pretty much the same.
I can't seem to find any info on if the TV show was based off the book, I mean it has to be. Has anyone else read the book and watched the show?|||Actually they filmed a 15 minute ending to the show but it can only be seen in the dvd as a special feature.
The show was semi-autobiographical. It was written by Scott Rosenberg who also wrote Beautiful Girls. October Road is loosely based on what happened after Beautiful Girls came out and how his friends reacted to a movie about their lives.

Can someone recommend a good Nora Roberts book?
I don't know your age or much about your taste when it comes to books but Nora Roberts came out with a triology I liked and the triology is not new but I think it's good. The first one you start with is Key Of Light, then Key of Knowledge, and last but least Key Of Valor. Also the 3 sisters Island trilogy was preatty good. If you wan't anything different other than Nora check out Open House by Elizabeth Berg.|||I always think that if they have gone to the trouble of a promo video the book is at least worth a really good look at. I love checking out book promo videos, these are great!
Have you ever read a book by Nora Roberts?
One. :-) I was taking a summer class at a college far away from home, and had absolutely nothing to read.

Nora Roberts books that are not suspense?
I hadn't read any Nora Roberts because I don't like and suspense in my romance, but my mom gave me "Taming Natasha"/"Luring a Lady" as a gift, so I had to read it for when she quizzed me later. It turned out to be one of her non-suspense works and I liked it a lot and have read a few more of her books - the four Donovan Legacy books, "Irish Rebel," and "Falling for Rachel"/"Convincing Alex."
My question is, what other books of hers are similar? I'm looking for romance books, but not suspense. I don't want mystery or murders or danger and peril. I'm OK with something like the case Alex was working on in "Convincing Alex" - it was in the background, the reader wasn't supposed to be able to follow clues and find the culprit, or any of that sort of thing.
Any Nora Roberts fans out there who can tell me what some good straight romance books by her are?|||Try the Macgregors, the Key Trilogy, The Calhoun Sisters... or better yet, check her website: http://www.noraroberts.com/trilogies.htm
Good luck, she's very prolific and has a LOT of books that are not romantic suspense. (I don't fancy romantic suspense so I avoid those as well)|||Look for any of her trilogies and you can't go wrong. Pretty much she will write those for the more pure romance side and write the others as the romantic suspense (which are usually released in hardcover first) and are mostly just stand alone books. Check out the list below for all of her straight romance stories.

Nora roberts books? which ones to read?
i just started reading a couple of nora roberts books and thought they were amazing, but there are so many i don't know which ones to read. any suggestions??|||Some of my personal favourites:
*Genuine Lies
*The Reef
*Divine Evil
*Carolina Moon|||I don't know how Nora Roberts consistently creates stories and characters that alternately have you laughing and crying, in between being scared to death, but I am so glad that she does.
With some authors, you read one book, and you've read them all....the plots are just so similar. Not so with Nora Roberts.
Carolina Moon is a wonderful story, with the main character, Tory, bringing a smile to your face with her wit, just after you've grabbed a kleenex to wipe away a tear for what she has endured in her life. Ms. Roberts makes you feel the terror that Tory feels as she unwillingly "sees" things she wishes she didn't. Her characters and storyline are so well developed that you find yourself drawn into the action as if you were there yourself.
As with most of her books, I only put it down with great reluctance and almost finished it in one sitting.

What the best Nora Roberts book? with the MOST romance?
i want the book to be mainly romance with mystery!! not a whole mystery book with a bit of romance??
am i too young to read her books? i'm 15?|||Any of her trilogies/series are mainly romance. As for the best Nora Roberts book, that is tough, she has written so many and she is my favorite author. But my favorite series is the Donovan Legacy (Captivated, Entranced, Charmed, and Enchanted).
The books not involved in a trilogy or series tend to lean a bit more towards the mystery side of things, as does her In Death titles under J.D. Robb.
As for being too young, I don't think so. I was reading her when I was 15.
Have fun!|||Anything she has written as Nora Roberts is primarily romance. The books that she wrote for Harlequin/Silhouette were very definitely romance. Her later single title novels have more focus on the external plot, i.e. mystery/suspense/family relationship/what have you.
As JD Robb, however, the romance is secondary to the mystery.
As for your age, it's a judgment call. She doesn't write particularly graphic love scenes, in my opinion, but they're definitely part of the story. You could ask you mom to read a couple of them with you and see what she thinks -- she might enjoy them, too!

Nora Roberts fans...?
Which of Nora Roberts' books was the first to be made into a TV movie? I thought is was Sanctuary. According to the LifetimeTV Nora Roberts quiz, the first starred a member of the cast of ER. No one from ER was in Sanctuary. Now my curiosity is peaked, HELP!!!!|||It was Magic Moments, with Eriq LaSalle.

Nora Roberts Blood Brothers?
I read the book and couldnt place an opinion on it..i was wondering what anyone else thought of it..did you like it? did u think it was a good book considering Nora Roberts other works? Did you like how the characters were paired up...Caleb/Quinn, Fox/Layla, Gage/Cybil?
and does any one know when the second book in the trilogy is coming out??|||The Hollow comes out in May of this year, and the third book, The Pagan Stone comes out in December of this year. I've read all of Nora's book and this one did seem to have a bit of a different flavor. All in all I liked it, loved the characters (she has amazing character development skills). In my opinion, this one was darker and well, scarier than her usual books. But I have always liked her paranormal stories, so this is one that I enjoyed. I can't wait for the rest of the trilogy to come out. If you are a big fan, you should check out the Yahoo Group JDRobb.|||hi,, i read it,, thought it was ok,, liked the characters,, but didnt think it was as good as her other books,,, i really dont like the fact that the second book doesnt come out til may,, so the third book will be in november at least,, that is way too long for wait to see what happens!!!,,, do you read her J.D. Robb series also? i do,, and like them alot

if you've read nora roberts, what do you think of the key trilogy, especially zoe's story, montana sky and true betrayals?|||At this point in time I have not read a NR book/story that I haven't liked. I really liked the all three of the Key Stories. Montana sky was good, I liked how the sister's dynamic worked and changed in the story. I liked True Betrayals, I rooted for Kelsey's mother, I felt she got a raw deal. One of my very favorites are her Born In trilogy and her Chesepeake Bay Series. I like the family dynamics she portays and that touch of "other worldliness". I also love he In Death series w/a J.D. Robb|||I've read all of them except true betrayals i really enjoyed them.
The key trilogy was great. That's the one thing that i like about her books... the mythology and somethings based in Ireland...
But if you like her u just might like Danielle Steel I LOVE her books!!!|||Nora Roberts is a great author. I loved the Key Trilogy. The Donavan Legacy was really good also. Why do people read Nora Roberts?
what is special about her books, and what do u think is the best book if i were to try and read one of hers, thanx|||I would agree with Livin'SD about her books falling into several genres. She has romance and romantic suspense and mystery and intrigue in several books. Not only that, she is a good author who writes enjoyable stories. Her stories are not formulaic as the cheesier romances can be. Her heroines are usually strong and successful women for whom you don't have to cringe in embarrassment because they do a lot of stupid things (one of my pet peeves).
If you enjoy a good mystery with romance thrown in, I would suggest her two-book D.C. Detectives series: Sacred Sins and Brazen Virtue.
Some really good romantic suspense novels include Montana Sky, Hidden Riches, Carolina Moon or Angels Fall (among others).
If you're looking for something along the lines of "pure" romance, you may enjoy the Concannon Sisters trilogy: Born in Fire, Born in Ice and Born in Shame.
I hope that helps.|||I think it's that her writing doesn't necessarily fall into one genre - her books are a mixture of mystery, romance, adventure, etc. I've read maybe three of her books and my favorite so far has been Northern Lights. Maybe because it takes place in Alaska and I'm not sure I've ever read another book with this setting. From my limited experience, you can't really go wrong with her books, but I would suggest this one as a good place to begin.

Nora Roberts series?
I recently fell in love with Nora Roberts' MacKade brothers series. I read all four of the books featuring Rafe, Jared, Devin, and Shane, and when I went back to look at the cover of the first book, the Rafe and Jared one, I noticed there was a thing that said, "By popular demand, the MacKade brothers are back!" IS there more books with the mackade brothers in them, or is it just these four?|||It's just those four, but they were written quite some time ago as were many of her romance novels AND are being reprinted now that so many other readers have discovered her.|||dunno but I know her next book is called 'Face Of the Past' and it's out in November.
Bed of Roses by Nora Roberts? Is it good?

I|||I've read Vision in White and am about half way through Bed of Roses. I highly recommend reading Vision first, it gives you a real feel and history of the characters and will make Bed of Roses that much more enjoyable since you get to feel that you "know" the characters. Has anyone ever read the garden trilogy by Nora Roberts?
There's 3 books. Blue Dahlia, Black Rose %26amp; Red Lily. I think they are very good. What is your opinion on them?|||I read all three in order and i thought they were all great. I liked how you really got to know all the 3 main characters in each book. They were a few of those books that you get so wrapped up in that you lose track of time and end up staying up til midnight completely captured in the storyline. My fav was Red Lily because of the young love and terror of the ghostly visits, but I'd read em all again, and i just might.|||I liked the first two but haven't gotten the third yet. I love anything with a ghost in it!|||i read all her books!!! i really enjoyed this series,, the only complaint i have is that it takes so long for the 2nd and third book to come out , i have to reread the 1 and 2 book over,,,,, my favorites trilogy was the the brothers quinn,, sea swept, rising tides, inner harbor and then the final book chesapeake blue!!!! i also love her books when she writes as j.d. robb, the futuristic detective series,,, they are fantastic also,,
Has anyone read or is reading Nora Roberts " The Hollow" which is second in the Sign of Seven Trilogy?
Yeah, I finished reading that one a couple days ago. It's pretty good, but I think the third one will be better. Wish the release dates weren't spaced out so much, its hard to keep the storyline straight when there's so much time between release dates.|||yes
Anyone have a copy of Promise Me Tomorrow by Nora Roberts that they're looking to sell?

Similar to Nora Roberts Bride Quartet?
I've just read 3 of the 4 Bride Quartet series and I love them. What other authors/book are similar? Or books that tell the story of friends falling in love?|||Huge Nora Roberts fan. I just finished Black Hills and Sign of Seven Trilogy. A little Pagan-ish but it was a really exciting series.|||I'm also a huge Nora Roberts fan. You might like the Dream Trilogy as well. Luanne Rice is a very similar author to Nora Roberts. I love her books as well. I highly recommend Beach Girls, Dance with Me, Angels All Around Town, and Dream Country (although I love so many of her novels).
Barbara Taylor Bradford's Harte series is a great series. Each novel keeps you engrossed. It starts with A Woman of Substance. I think this series would be perfect for what you are asking.
Fern Michaels is another good choice. Some that I like of hers are The Marriage Game, Pretty Woman, The Kentucky books. Again she has so many great ones it's hard to pick just a few.
Hope this gives you some choices. :)|||Chasing Perfect by Susan Mallory

Download free Nora Roberts books?
I've been having trouble with the normal sites, none of them have them, and I can't find what I want so I was wondering if anyone knew any good sites to download Nora Roberts books from like The Pagan Stone |||You won't find any of her books available for download (or online viewing) for free. You can, however, read some of her short stories that she has posted on her website. They are in relation to 2 of her trilogies (Quinn brothers, and Ardmore). I've linked to them at the website below. |||If Nora Roberts wants you to have it for free, she will post it on her website.

Nora Roberts book online for free?
I want to read playboy prince by nora Roberts and I can't find it I want to read it online plz|||Sorry, none of Nora's books are available online for free (other than the two short stories she has posted on her website). You can find it on eBay or Amazon.com for only a few dollars though.|||It's a recent book, so it is under copyright protection. Unless Ms. Roberts puts it online somewhere for free, or your local library has an e-book version available for download (visit their website), you are probably out of luck.

Do you know nora roberts?
do you know who nora roberts is?|||Not personally, but I hear she's a 'dang good' author!|||She's an author who was mentioned in Writer's Digest a couple of months back. Why? Do you think the people of today don't know? I hope Nora Roberts doesn't see this question!|||She writes fiction with paranormal themes under Nora Roberts and thrillers under J.D. Robb.
I don't do thrillers but I read one of her trilogy books dealing with 3 sisters who are witches. It was okay. There wasn't a lot of character depth but the story was interesting enough to read all the way through. ;-)|||She is an author of many books. Hard Cover and Paper Backs. Romance usualy.|||I've actually been picking my way through her J.D. Robb-psuedonym series about Eve Dallas. It makes for light, quick reading when all I really want to do is to pass time while looking for something else to read. It's an entertaining enough series, nothing special or fabulous butI like it much better than the one book of hers I read (under Nora Roberts). And as I said, passes time.

The stories are different but her writing style remains similar and I think you should just try any that you haven't read.
Nora Roberts book- The Circle Trilogy?
Has anyone read the Circle Trilogy from Nora Roberts?
What are your thoughts on it?
I thought it kicked some major azz.|||I bought the series for my wife, i was bored and picked the first one up, sat up and read all three of them the same night, thank god i was on holidays LOL.|||The first book of the series was slow moving because it was setting up the story. My best friend likes Nora Roberts, which book would be the best to get for her?|||You should check to see which books she has and then pick which ever one she doesn't from the book store that sound interesting to you. I'm sure she will appreciate it.|||Definately check what she has if she loves nora roberts. My personal favorites are probably Montana Sky, The Villa, and Blue Smoke, for single books. Her Series are also very good!!!
|||Montana Sky, or Carolina Moon. I love those 2 the best. But if she like Nora's work, maybe a gift card to a bookstore so she can choose her own??|||Blue Smoke and Northern Lights are both excellent. :)

What is your favorite Nora Roberts title and why?
I really like the majority of her books, but off the top of my head Angels Fall and The Bride Quartet books come to mind. Angels Fall is great because Brody is hilarious and completely me in a male body. Plus, it's got the murder mystery that keeps you wondering until the very end. The Bride books are fun and you actually care about the characters. Yes, they're predictable, but still good for a laugh.
Best Nora Roberts Romance Novel?
For one of my classes we're doing Secret Santa.
The person that I got LOVES romance novels, especially Nora Roberts.
I've never read any of her books so I don't know what they're like.
So I was wondering what her BEST romance novel is, because I want to buy the person one of her books, I just don't know which one I should buy for her.
Thank you.|||That's a very hard question to answer since she has written over I believe 200 books and pretty much every one of them is great. If at all possible, try to bring up her love of Nora's books in a conversation and see if she has read any of Nora's new Blood Brothers Trilogy (the third in the trilogy, The Pagan Stone, comes out on Monday) or if she has gotten the latest hard cover Tribute. Otherwise, my favorite books are in The Donovan Legacy (four books in series). Good luck!|||blood brothers|||I enjoy her romantic thrillers when she writes as J.D. Nora Roberts writing as J.D. Robb? Any order toEve Dallas series?
What exactly does Nora Roberts mean when she is "writing as J.D. Robb"? does she have split personalities or was J.D. a character in another book? And does it matter what order you read the series in because I have read like four of them and they reference to other cases|||Nora Roberts also writes as J.D. Robb. This allows her to write two different styles of books (or books set in different time periods). Amanda Quick (historical fiction/mystery) is written by Jayne Anne Krentz (contemporary).
Here's a website and all the info you need on Robb:
http://www.noraroberts.com/jdrobb.htm|||The J.D. Robb books are only about Eve Dallas and Roarke. It's best if you read them in order. The order is given on her website. The earlier books are better than the more recent books.

What is the nam,e of Nora Roberts's book in which it features about Singapore or Raffles hotel?
was it three fates??? i read alot of her,, i think that was it,, not really sure,, sorry
Nora roberts also publishes books under another name, jd robb. does it ruin the mystery 4 u, knowing its her?
i don't get why it has to be under a different name. i mean, theyre all by her. and we know that. what difference does that make?|||From what I understand - Nora Roberts has always wanted to write romantic suspense novels, but her agents urged her to concentrate on the traditional romance novels.
As it turns out, her publishing company had a hard time keeping up with her prolific output, so then they told her to adopt a second pseudonym so that they will be able to publish more of her work each year. So her romance mysteries would be published under J.D. Robb, while Nora Roberts is the classic romance.
And just a cool fact - J.D. stands for her sons "Jason and Dan."
So it doesn't make a huge difference - they can just produce more of her books in one year.|||its just cooler i guess....... i dont know. but yea it ruins it for mea at least...:)|||I think it's stupid. The reason for publishing under a different name is because you write books that are so far out of your normal genre that you make up a new name for them. However, once you put both names on the cover, I really fail to see the point. I write murder mysteries. My new book is very very far from that genre and I intend to use a different name. However, I have no intention of broadcasting that name. I don't want people to connect it to me, which is kind of the idea. I think Nora Roberts has a bad case of Multiple Personality Disorder. And Stephen King is worse. The new Richard Bachman book has a foreword in it written by Stephen King. I mean duh! Does he write his own reviews, too?

They're, Their, There - Three Different Words.
Careful or you may wind up in my next novel.

Has anyone read the Daring to Dream Trilogy by Nora Roberts?
I have read the first one and liked it, but from the summaries of the others they sound completely different and less exciting. Were they just as good?|||I just re-read that series about a week ago. I have to admit Daring was my favorite, but I still enjoyed Finding the Dream and Keeping the Dream. Its also really nice to be able to see more of the characters you've already read about and see Margo and Josh's relationship develop even more. I definately recommend reading the other two.|||I have, it was okay if you like those kinda books. I read them over a summer trapped at my Grandmothers. That was all she had to read. lol. Nora Roberts is a very talented author...but I can't think of any other authors who are as talented as her in the specific genre she usually writes. I would recommend, however, that you check out Dean Koontz or James Patterson. They're also very good.|||Nora Roberts is my favorite. If you like her, you'll like:

What sets Nora Roberts apart from all others?
Actually, at the moment i'm reading one of her books... Its really good, unlike anything i've read... Shes really good with plots and making you feel like u really know the characters... Shes really good and I love to read her books..but i have other favorites to who are not that far behind....|||She can write really fast! I love her books but there are other authors who are just as good if not better, but they can't write as fast so they aren't at the top of the list all the time.|||Her story lines are interesting and she gets readers to care about the characters in the story.|||She is a great story writer...She appeals to the happily-ever-after reader that likes some meat to her story. But, unlike other romance biggies, she doesn't inject a lot of sad-before-the-happy plots.....

My favorites are Birthright, Carolina Moon, River's End %26amp; Northern Lights (which was pretty much massacred in the beginning of the movie).
You can't go wrong with any of her trilogies or series.|||That one was Northern Lights. The book is much better than the movie. I am a huge Nora Roberts fan. My absolute favorites are the Circle Trilogy (Which starts with Morrigan's Cross) and Midnight Bayou. Very good.

Nora Roberts is not giving the books away. I checked. Sorry but you have to either buy them or check them out of the public library where tax dollars pay for the book and the author is paid.
