Nora Roberts, what are most of her books about?

When she writes as Nora Roberts, they're generally romantic novels, but they all follow themes. She's a native of Maryland (my home state), so she writes a lot of stories about things happening in this area. She's known for her trilolgies, all based on different subjects.

Robb, she writes murder mysteries.|||Nora Roberts (born October 10, 1950 in Silver Spring, Maryland as Eleanor Marie Robertson), is a bestselling American author of more than 150 romance novels. She was the first author to be inducted into the Romance Writers of America Hall of Fame. She writes the "In Death" series as J.D. Robb and has written other works under the pseudonyms Sarah Hardesty and Jill March.





As of 2006, Roberts's novels had spent a combined 660 weeks on the New York Times Bestseller List, including 100 weeks in the number-one spot. Over 280 million copies of her books are in print, including 12 million copies sold in 2005 alone. Her novels have been published in 35 countries.|||I Don't no Know Nora|||Of the ones I read: a troubled man meets a troubled woman, and there is some running around to straighten out at least the most pressing troubles, then the man and the woman usually get together-- UNLESS the straightened-out-troubles reveal that the little guy in the over in the back (or the unsung woman) are the REAL true loves for man or the woman characters...

I don't want to give Nora Roberts short-shrift though. I've heard that some of her stuff is quite good.
