I'm looking for a book that I think is by Nora Roberts?

The book is about a girl who is abused by her mother. The father eventually comes in the picture and saves his daughter, the father is in a band. Anyway the young girl lives with her father and his future wife, then he has another child, a son. The son is eventually killed when he was a child and the girl watches is murder then blocks out the memory. It eventually tells who the killer was which was the bands manager.
